from given first Fact :

x+y =40. ..................... (1)

from given second fact on Total sum of Money:

clear 1x + 1/2 y = 25.......(2)

now we can use (2) to say :

x= 25-y/2................(3)

put this bacj into (1) so that equation turns 1 variable equation in y:

y+ 25-y/2 = 40

y/2=15

y=30............ result 1 is Number of 50 praise coins

x+30= 40

x= 10........ number of 1 rupee Coins.
