  1. Change 3mm to cm ie 0.3 cm
  2. calculate the volume of the coin first .

Volume of Coin = πr2h

22/7×2.1/2×2.1/2×0.3=1.0395cm2

3. Now calculate the volume of cylinder

Volume of cylinder =πR2H

22/7×3.5×3.5×12=462cm2

4. No of coins melted to form a right cylinder of height 12cm and diameter 7cm= Volume of cylinder / Volume of coins

=462/1.0395= 444 Approx
