Answer:

radius of the coin = 0.75

radius of the cylinder = 2.25

Step-by-step explanation:

volume of the cylindrical coin x n = volume of the right cylinder

pie x r² x h x n = pie x R² x H

r² x h x n = R² x H

n = R² x H / r² x h

   = 2.25 x 2.25 x  10 / 0.75 x 0.75 x 0.2

  = 5 x 9 x 10

  = 45 x 10

  = 450 coins

there is need of total 450 coins

Answer:

let n is the number of coins

according to question

volume of cylinder =volume of n coins

pi.R^2H=n x pi.r^2.h

R^2.H=n.r^2.h

n=R^2H/r^2.h

now put H=10cm

R=4.5/2 cm

r=1.5cm

h=0.2cm

hence no of coins =450
