Answer:

Let n be the number of 1.5 cm diameter coins required to form a right circular cylinder of height 10 cm and diameter 4.5 cm.

Now,

Volume of right circular cylinder =n× volume of 1.5 cm diameter coin.

Therefore,

n \:  =   \frac{\pi \:  \binom{4.5}{2}  {}^{2}  \times 10}{\pi \:  \binom{1.5}{2} {}^{2}  \times  \frac{2}{10}  }

 =  \:  \frac{45 \times 45}{20 \times 20}  \times  \frac{10 \times 20 \times 20 \times 10}{15 \times 15 \times 2}

 =  \: 9 \:  \times  \: 10 \:  \times  \: 5

 =  \: 450
