Given :-

  • A cubes of 3 cm side which can be made from cuboid of dimensions l = 18cm, b = 15cm and h = 2 cm.

To find :-

  • Number of cubes

Solution :-

  • Edge of cube = 3cm

→ Volume of a cube

→ a³

→ (3)³

→ 27 cm³

Hence,

  • Volume of a cube = 27 cm³

Now,

  • Length of cuboid = 18 cm

  • Breadth of cuboid = 15 cm

  • Height of cuboid = 2 cm

Volume of cuboid

→ l × b × h

→ 18 × 15 × 2

→ 18 × 30

→ 540 cm³

Therefore

  • Volume of cuboid is 540 cm³

Number of cubes

→ Volume of cuboid/volume of a cube

→ 540/27

→ 20

So,

  • Number of cubes is 20

Given :

The number of cubes of 3 cm side which can be made from cuboid of dimensions

  • Length = 18 cm

  • Breadth = 15 cm

  • Height = 2 cm

To find :

  • The Number of Cubes which can be made

According to the question :

⇢Side of a Cube = 3 cm

⟹ Volume of a Cube = a × a × a

⟹ 3 × 3 × 3 cm

⇢Length of a Cuboid ( l ) = 18 cm

⇢Breadth of a Cuboid ( b ) = 15 cm

⇢Height of a Cuboid ( h ) = 2 cm

⟹ Volume of Cuboid = l × b × h

⟹ 18 × 15 × 2

Finally, We Get :

➳ No. of. Cubes = No. of. Cuboid / Volume of one cube

⟹ ( 18 × 15 × 2 ) / ( 3 × 3 × 3 )

⟹ 540 / 27

⟹ 20

∴ No. of. cubes made = 20

So, It's Done !!
