5 cubes of edge 2 cm are inscribed  in a cuboid

assuming that

length of the cuboid = 5 cm

breadth of the cuboid = 4 cm

height of the cuboid = 2 cm

given edge of the cube = 2 cm

then ,

volume of cuboid = l×b×h

= 5×4×2

= 40 cm³

volume of cuboid = 40 cm³

now, volume of cube = (side)³

= (2)³

=8 cm³

number of cubes inscribed in the cuboid = \frac{volume of cuboid}{volume of cube}

number of cubes = \frac{40}{8} = 5

number of cubes = 5 cubes

hence ,

5 cubes of edge 2 cm are inscribed  in a cuboid
