Find the number of cubical boxes if side 6 cm, which can be accommodated in a carton of dimensions 18 cm × 12 cm ×15 cm.​

Answer:

In order to find the number of cubical boxes that can be accommodated in a carton of dimensions 15*9*12,

We have to divide the volume of the carton by the volume of a cube.

The volume of cube/Cuboid = Area of base * height

No of boxes which can be accommodated = Vol.carton/Vol.single cube.

=(15*9*12)/3*3*3

=(5*3*4)

=20*3

=60

Therefore 60 such boxes can be accommodated;
