It also says that the combination of primes will be unique (if we disregard the order of primes). Means 90 can be written as 5 * 3 * 3 * 2 or 3 * 2 * 3 * 5 or any combination we can form using the prime. But there will be always one 2, two 3s and one 5 in the expression, which is unique to 90. If we treat 1 as a prime, then we can bring in any number of ones. So one is not considered as a prime and as one cannot be represented as a product of primes and hence one is not composite too
