Answer:

The number of flowing charges will be 225 × 10¹⁹.

Explanation:

The current flowing through the conducting wire, I = 4 A

The time of flow of current, t = 1.5 mins = 90 s

We know the equation of charge, Q = I × t

                                                     ∴ Q = 4 × 90

                                                            = 360 C

We also know the equation,

Q = n × q

Where 'Q' is the total charge, 'n' is the number of charges and 'q' is the charge of one single charge. Here the flowing charges will consist of electrons. The charge of an electron, q = -1.6 × 10⁻¹⁹ C

∴ No: of flowing charges, n = Q/q

                                             = 360 / -1.6 × 10⁻¹⁹

                                             = 225 × 10¹⁹

The negative sign of the charge of the electron doesn't count as the number of charges cannot be a negative number.
