Area of marble slabs = Length × Breadth

= 20 × 30

= 600 cm²

Side of square room = 3m = 300cm

Area of square room = side × side

= 300cm × 300cm

= 90000cm²

no. \: of \: marble \: slabs \:  =  \frac{area \: of \: room}{area \: of \: marble \: slabs}  \\  =  \frac{90000}{600}  = 150 \: marbles
