molecular formula of nitric acid is HNO3

mol. wt.=1(1)+1(14)+3(16)=63gms

63 gm contain 3 oxygen atoms

let 120 gms contain x atoms

then x=(120*3)/63=40/7=5.7(exact)=6 atoms

Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeees

Mark me as brainiest pls

umang314: what's the answer is right
SH221B: That would mean that in 2 moles of HNO3 there are only 6 atoms
SH221B: which is wrong
umang314: sahi answer kya h

molecular mass of hno3 is=63 amu
so no of molecule in 126 amu=126/63=2
no of oxygen atoms=2×3=6

no of moles of oxygen atoms=6/6.023×10^23=9.96×10^-24 moles

hope it will help you!!!
