★ To find -
Number of sides of the polygon.
★ Answer -
♦ Each interior angle = 135° (given)
♦ Then, each exterior angle,
= 180° - (each interior angle)
= 180° - 135°
= 45°.. (i)
♦ But, each exterior angle of any regular polygon = 360°/number of sides.. (ii)
♦ From (i) and (ii),
45° = 360°/number of sides
=> number of sides = 360°/45°
=> number of sides = 8
