Solution

Given :-

  • Equation , 2x - 3y = 1 ----------(1)
  • 3x - 2y = 4 -----------------(2)

Find :-

  • Value of x & y

Explanation

By, Elimination Method

Multiply by 2 in equ(2) & 3 in equ(1)

  • 6x - 9y = 3
  • 6x - 4y = 8

_____________Sub. it's (Eliminate x)

==> -9y + 4y = 3 - 8

==> -5y = -5

==> y = -5/(-5)

==>y = 1

Keep Value of y in equ(1)

==> 2x - 3*1 = 1

==> 2x = 1 + 3

==> 2x = 4

==>x = 4/2

==>x = 2

____________________

Hence

  • Value of x = 2
  • Value of y = 1
