3x - 2y - 5 = 0
7x - 2y - 3 = 0
subtract eq (i) from (ii)
7x -2y -3 -3x + 2y + 5 = 0
4x + 2 = 0
4x = -2
x = -2 / 4
x = -1/2
& y = -13/4
