x+2y-8=0

2x+4y-16=0

here, a1= 1 , b1=2, c1= -8

a2=2, b2=4, c2= -16

so, a1/a2=1/2 , b1/b2=2/4=1/2 , c1/c2= -8/-16=1/2

since a1/a2=b1/b2=c1/c2 , the pair of linear equations has infinitely many solutions.
