Find the number of solutions of the pair of linear equations : x+y+5 = 0 and 3x-6y +1 =0

x+y+5=0

-3x-6y+1=0

On taking LCM of y

=6x+6y+30=0

+(-3x) -6y+1=0

3x=-31

x=10.3

Therefore y

x+y=-5

10.3+y=5

y=5-10.3

=5.3
