Find the number of square tiles of side 20cm needed to pave a floors 3.2m multiply 1.6m.

How many tiles will be required to cover my floor whose length is 4 metres and breadth is 3 metres and each tile is a square side of 20 cms?

Length of floor = 4 metres

breadth of the floor = 3 metres

Area of the floor = 4m * 3m = 12 sq.m

lenght of the tile = 20cm

area of the tile = 20 * 20 = 400cm^2

12 sq. m = 120000 sq. cm

no.of tiles required = 120000/400 = 300 tiles

therefore, you require 300 tiles to cover your floor
