of the following aps. 7,13,19....205

no. of aps = n
a = 7
an (l) = 205
simply by applying the formula an = a + (n-1) d,
we get
205 = 7 + (n -1) d. ....................1

Now calculate d ,
d= a2 - a1
= 13 -7 = 6

putting in eqn 1 ,
205 = 7 +( n -1 ) 6
205 = 7 + 6n -6
205 -1 = 6n
204 / 6 =n
34 =n
hence. the no. of terms in ap is 34...
hope it helps

Question:-

Find the number of terms each of the following A.P. 7,13,19....205.

\huge{ \star\:{\underline{\boxed{\mathfrak{\purple{ Answer}}}}}}

Given:-

  • a = 7 ( first term )
  • d = a2 - a1 = 13 - 7 = 6
  • an = 205 ( last term )

To find:-

  • Number of terms

______________________

  \large \star \: a_n = a + (n - 1)d

 \large \star \: 205 = 7 + (n - 1)6

 \large \star \: 198 = (n - 1)6

 \large \star \: 33 = n - 1

 \large \star \: n \:  = 34

So there are 34 terms is this A.P
