Step-by-step explanation:

Here,a=3 ,d=5 (common difference)

anth term is 253

now , anth=a+(n-1)d

253=3+(n-1)5

253-3=(n-1)5

250/5=n-1

50=n-1

n=50+1

n=51

Solution :-

GIVEN Ap = 3,8,13,....253

  • Commond difference (d) = 8 - 3 = 5
  • first term (a) = 3

To Find

  • number of term = ?

\sf a_n = a+(n-1)d

→ 253 = 3 + (n-1)5

→ 253 - 3 = (n -1)5

→ 250 = (n - 1)5

→ 250/5 = n - 1

→ 50 = n - 1

→ n = -1 - 50

n = 51

Hence,

given A.P have 51 terms.
