Area of room=length * breadth=3*4=12Area of one tile =0.5*0.5=0.25number of tiles is given by the formula,number=area of room/area of one tileSo,Number= 0.2512 =48 Thus 48 tiles will be used to cover an entire floor

Area of floor = length x breadth

= 400 x 600

= 240000 cm²

Area of tile = side²

= 5²

= 25 cm²

No. of tiles required = area of floor ÷ area of tile

= 240000 ÷ 25

= 9600
