\huge{\underline{\underline{\red{\mathfrak{AnSwEr :}}}}}

\small{\underline{\blue{\sf{Given :}}}}

  • Side of Square Floor = 24 cm
  • Side of Each Tile = 6 cm

\rule{200}{1}

\small{\underline{\green{\sf{Solution :}}}}

We have formula for area of square :

\large \star {\boxed{\sf{Area \: = \: (Side)^2}}} \\ \\ \small {\underline{\pink{\sf{\: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: Put \:  Values \: \: \: \: \: \:}}}} \\ \\ \bullet \:  \sf{We \:Will \: Find \: Area \: Of \: Floor} \\ \\ \implies {\sf{Area \: = \: (24)^2}} \\ \\ \implies {\boxed{\sf{Area \: = \: 576 \: cm^2}}}

• Now we will find area of Tile

\implies {\sf{Area \: = \: (6)^2}} \\ \\ \implies {\boxed{\sf{Area \: = \: 36 \: cm^2}}}

\rule{200}{1}

And Now we have to find number of tiles used :

\star {\boxed{\sf{Number \: of \: Tiles \: = \: \dfrac{Area \: of \: Floor}{Area \: of \: Tile}}}} \\ \\ \implies {\sf{Number \: of \: Tiles \: = \: \dfrac{576}{36}}} \\ \\ \implies  {\sf{Number \: Of \: Tiles \: = \: 16}}

\Large{\boxed{\sf{Number \: of \: Tiles \: = \: 26}}}
