Hello,
We are given length of the road
And, the distance between the tress.
Assume, the length of the road is 10m and in every 2 m we find a tree.
What is the number of trees
The answer is 5 trees
We got this by dividing the total length by the distance between the trees.
Similarly in above question:-
Number of trees on one side = length of the road÷distance between the trees
Please refer the above photograph for the division process and answer.
After dividing we got the number of trees on one side of the road as 4x²+3x+7
Since, we had been asked for the number of trees on both sides we must multiply it with 2
So, the answer is 8x²+6x+14 trees
Hope this will be helping you ✌️
