Solution:

Let say Number N makes the ratio equivalent

=> 2 : 6  = 6 : N

=> 2/6 = 6/N

=> 1/3  = 6/N

Cross multiplication

=> N = 6 * 3

=> N = 18

Hence number 18 makes the ratio equivalent

option b) 18 is correct
