To Find :  the number obtained

Solution:

quotient obtained by 16 divided by difference of 17 and 9 is  subtracted from 25.​  

difference of 17 and 9 = 17 - 9 = 8

quotient obtained by 16 divided by 8

= 16/8

= 2

2 is  subtracted from 25.​  

= 25 - 2

= 23
