There are 7 letters in the word COLLEGE
Again ,
L ➡ 2
E ➡ 2

So total permutation
= 7! / 2!×2!

= 7×6×5×4×3×2×1/ 2×1×2×1

= 7×6×5×3×2

= 1260

So , the word COLLEGE can be arranged in 1260 ways .

There are 11 letters in the word MATHEMATICS

Where
M ➡ 2
T ➡ 2
A ➡ 2

So total permutations
=11!/ 2!×2!×2!

= 11×10×9×8×7×6×5×4×3×2×1/ 2×2×2

= 11×10×9×8×7×6×5×3

=110×81×7×30×3

= 110×81×7×90

= 4989600

Therefore the letters of the word MATHEMATICS can be arranged in 4989600 ways .
