And given sum of their reciprocals is 12

( 9-x ) + ( x ) / ( x ) * ( 9 - x ) = 12

9 / 9x - x sq = 12

( On cross multiplication )

9 = 12 ( 9x - x sq )

9 = 108 x - 12x sq

( On dividing the whole equation with " 3 " )

3 = 36x - 4x sq

4x sq - 36x + 3 = 0
