we know that ,

a {}^{m}  \times a {}^{n}  = a {}^{m + n}

then,

 \: ( \frac{ - 2}{5} ) {}^{13}  \times ( \frac{ - 2}{5} ) {}^{7}  = ( \frac{ - 2}{5} ) {}^{5x - 5}

 \: ( \frac{ - 2}{5} ) {}^{20}  = ( \frac{ - 2}{5} ) {}^{5x - 5}

on comparing,

20= 5x-5

25=5x

then ,

X= 5
