Let, the original price of a shampoo bottle be x.

$↦ \sf \dfrac{8x}{100} + x =\: 324$

$↦ \sf \dfrac{8x + 100x}{100} =\: 324$

$↦ \sf \dfrac{108x}{100} =\: 324$

By doing cross multiplication we get,

$↦ \sf 108x =\: 100 \times 324$

$↦ \sf 108x =\: 32400$

$↦ \sf x =\: \dfrac{\cancel{32400}}{\cancel{108}}$

$➠ \sf\boxed{\bold{x =\: Rs\: 300}}$

\therefore∴ The original price of a shampoo bottle is Rs 300 .
