The other zeroes of the polynomial x^{4} - 5x^{3} + 2x^{2} + 10x - 8 are 4, 1.

  • Given,

\sqrt{2}, - \sqrt{2} are roots of polynomial.

  • Factorizing the polynomial, we get

             x^{2} - 5x + 4\\x^{2} - (4+1)x + (4)(1)\\comparing with x^{2} - (a+b)x+ab, where a, b are roots of polynomial, we get\\a = 4, b = 1\\Therefore, the remaining roots are 4, 1
