Answer:

1.The oxidation state of Mn in Mn2O7 is +7

2.Oxygen size is small hence it's more electronegative and show -2 oxidation state. x= +7 hence oxidation state of Cl is +7.

3.The oxidation number of carbon (C) in Li2CO3. +2 -4 +4 2.

4.Therefore, the oxidation number of phosphorus in PO3−4, P4O10 and P2O4−7 is +5. So, the correct answer is “Option A”. Note: Phosphorous is a group 15 element. It has 5 electrons in the valence shell.

5.it is AlF6 (-3) so the oxidation state of Aluminium is +3 as fluorine has oxidation state (-1)and the complex bears -3 charge. Hope it helps you.

Mn²O⁷ = 2x +7(-2) =0

2x -14 =0

x = 7

Cl²O⁷ = 2x + 7(-2) =0

2x -14 = 0

x= 7

Li² CO³ = 2(1) + x + 3(-2) = 0

2 +x -6 = 0

x = 4

POCl³ = x+ 1(-2) + 3(-1) = 0

x -2-3 = 0

x= 5

AlF³ = x+ 3(-1) = 0

x= 3
