first number = (sum ÷ 2) - (difference ÷2)
= (68÷2) - (6÷2)
= 34-3
= 31

second number = (sum ÷ 2) + (difference ÷2)
= (68÷2) + (6÷2)
= 34+3
= 37

the numbers are 31 and 37

\tt{\huge{ANSWER:}}

Let the two numbers be x and y

Given that:

x + y = 68
x - y = 6

Adding both the equations;

=》 x + y + x - y = 68 + 6

=》 2x = 74

=》 x = \frac{74}{2}\\

=》 \textbf{x = 37}

Other number;

x + y = 68

=》 37 + y = 68

=》 y = 68 - 37

=》 \textbf{y = 31}

Hope it Helps! :)
