Percentage change from first quantity to second quantity.........

➤ Formula required :-

➤ Solution :-

In the following sum, to find the percentage change, first we should find out the change in quantity.

Change in quantity :-

$\tt \longrightarrow50 - 45$

$\tt \longrightarrow5$

Percentage change :-

$\tt \longrightarrow \dfrac{5}{50} \times 100$

$\tt \longrightarrow \dfrac{5 \times 100}{50} = \dfrac{500}{50}$

$\tt \longrightarrow \cancel \dfrac{500}{50} = 10 \bf\%$

$\Huge\therefore$The percentage of change is 10$\bf\%$.
