l,b increased by 10%

l1 = l*(1+10%) = 1.1l

b1 = b*(1+10%) = 1.1b

new area a1 = l1* b1 = 1.1l×1.1b = 1.21lb

= 1.21a =(1+21%)a

area increased by 21%
