Here, We will take our favourite equalateral triangle who area is

Area A
 { \sqrt{3} } \div 4a ^{2}
and When there's sides are doubled then ,

New Area A' =

 \sqrt{3}  \div 4(2a)^{2}
Therefore finding the increase in triangle area

A'-A = 3✓3a^2 ÷ 4

Therefore in % = ,

A'-A * 100
A

3✓3a^2 ÷ 4 * 100 === 300% is the answer
----------------
✓3a^2 ÷ 4
