Perimeter of quadrant = 1/4 ×2πr
= 1/2 ×π(x)
=πx/2


Circumference of circle = 2πr
= 2π(x)


Perimeter of given part = Circumference - Perimeter of quadrant

Perimeter = 2πx - πx/2
= πx (2 - 1/2)
= πx [(4-1)/2]
= πx (3/2)
