Find the perimeter and area of a rectangle of sides
(a) 5 cm and 9 cm (b) 11 m and 22 m

a) p= 2(l+b)

= 2(5+9)

= 2×14

= 28cm

b)p =2(l+b)

= 2(11+22)

= 2×33

= 66m

Area of Rectangle = L×B

perimeter of Rectangle = 2(L+B)

(a) Area of Rectangle =5×9=45cm²

Perimeter of Rectangle = 2(5+9)

= 28 cm

(b) Area of Rectangle = 11×22

= 242 cm²

Perimeter of Rectangle = 2(11+22)

= 66 cm
