Find the perimeter and area of a semicircle whose radius is 14 cm

radius = 14cm

perimeter of circle = 2πr

so,

perimeter for semicircle = πr

perimeter of semicircle = 22/7 *14

= 44cm........

now, area of circle = πr^2

area for semicircle = πr^2/ 2

= (22/7) *14*14/2

= 308 cm square.....

hence,

perimeter= 44cm

area = 308 cm square
