Step-by-step explanation:

Given

ABCD is a quadrilateral

AB=17cm,AD=9cm,CD=15cm

∆ACB=90,AC=15cm

BC=√AB²-√AC²

=√17²-√15²

= √289=225

BC=√64=8cm

Perimeter=17+9+12+8=46cm

Area=1/2×b×b

=12×8×15

=60cm

In ABCD a = 15cm,b=12cm,c=9cm

5=12(a+b+c)

5=12(15+12+9)=36/2=18cm

Area of triangle=5√(5-a)(5-b)(5-c)

=18√18×15(18-12)(18-9)

= √18×3×6×9

=18×3

=54cm²

Area of quadrilateral=60+54=114cm²
