 \bold{ABOUT \: FIGURE}

The giver figure have a rectangle and a semicircle one of its side.

So, the area of this figure will be the sum of areas of semicircle and of rectangle.

And perimeter of this figure will be sum of perimeter of rectangle and of perimeter of semicircle.

FOR SEMICIRCLE

Diameter= 10.5 - 3.5 = 7

Radius =  \dfrac{Diameter}{2}

Radius =  \dfrac{7}{2}

Radius = 3.5 cm

Area of semicircle =  \dfrac{ \pi \times r^{2}}{2}

Area of semicircle =  \dfrac{3.14 \times 3.5^{2}}{2}

Area of semicircle = 19.23  cm^{2}

PERIMETER OF SEMICIRCLE =  \pi \times r

PERIMETER OF SEMICIRCLE = 3.14 × 3.5

PERIMETER OF SEMICIRCLE = 10.99 cm

FOR RECTANGLE

length = 4 cm

breadth = 10.5

Area = length × breadth

Area =42  cm^{2}

Perimeter = 2(lenght + breadth)

Perimeter = 2(4 + 10.5)

Perimeter = 2 × 14.5

Perimeter =29 cm

So, total area of figure = area of rectangle + area of semicircle

= 42 + 19.23

 \huge \boxed{Area = 61.23 \: cm^{2}}

So, total perimeter of figure = perimeter of rectangle + perimeter of semicircle

= 10.99 + 29

 \huge \boxed{PERIMETER = 39.99 \: cm}
