Answer:

By Pythagoras theorem,

Square of the length + Square of the Breadth = Square of the diagonal

=7 square + length square = 25 square

49 + length square 625

Length 24 cm =

Perimeter of the rectangle = 2(1+b)

=2(7+24) =2(31) = 62 cm

Area of the rectangle = I x b = = 24 x 7 = 168 cm square

Step-by-step explanation:

Given,

lenght of rectangle=7cm

and,

Diagonal of rectangle=25

i.e

(width of rectangle)^2 = (diagonal)^2 - (length)^2

(width)^2 = (25)^2 - (7)^2

(width)^2 = 625-49

(width)^2 = 576

width= √576

width = 24.

therefore.

Area of rectangle=lenght x width

Area of rectangle=7x24

Area of rectangle= 168 cm^2..

similarly...

perimetre of rectangle= 2(lenght + width)

= 2(7+24)

= 2 x 31

= 62 cm.
