  • Here 2 different question are given to us.
  • In the first question we have to find the perimeter of a rectangular sheet whose length is 35 cm and breadth is 15 cm. To find the perimeter we need to apply the formula of perimeter of rectangle.
  • In the second question side of a square is given that is 4 cm and we have to find the perimeter of the given square. To find the perimeter we need to apply the formula of perimeter of square.

ANSWERS:-

  1. Perimeter of the rectangular sheet is 100 cm.
  2. Perimeter of the square is 16 cm.

Question 1:- A Rectangular sheet whose length is 35 cm and breadth is 15 cm find perimeter.

Answer 1:-

  • It is given in the question that the length and breadth of the rectangular sheet is 35 cm and 15 cm respectively.
  • We have to find the perimeter.
  • Use the formula of perimeter of rectangle.

We know that:-

 \orange \bigstar \: \underline{\boxed{ \rm \green{Perimeter = 2(l + b)}}}

----------------------

So let's solve it!

  • Finding the perimeter:-

 \mapsto \tt{Perimeter = 2(35 + 15)}

 \mapsto \tt{Perimeter = 2(50)}

 \mapsto \tt{Perimeter = 2 \times 50}

 \mapsto \tt{Perimeter = 2 \times 50 = 100}

 \orange \mapsto \: \underline{\boxed{ \rm \green{Perimeter = 100 \: cm}}}

Thus, we got the answer.

Question 2:- Square whose side is 4 cm, find it's perimeter.

Answer 2:-

  • It is given in the question that the side of the square is 4 cm respectively.
  • We have to find the perimeter.
  • Use the formula of perimeter of square.

We know that:-

 \orange \bigstar \: \underline{\boxed{ \rm \green{Perimeter = 4 \times s}}}

----------------------

So let's solve it!

  • Finding the perimeter:-

 \mapsto \tt{Perimeter = 4 \times 4}

 \mapsto \tt{Perimeter = 4 \times 4 = 16}

 \orange \mapsto \: \underline{\boxed{ \rm \green{Perimeter = 16 \: cm}}}

Thus, we got the answer.
