Let the radius of the circle be r.

we know that area of a circle = πr^²

πr^²= 49π

πr^²= 49π

r^²= 49

r= 7cm

so perimeter of the circle is 2πr

= 2* 22/7*7=44cm

I think the area should be 49π cm2

because if the area is only 49 then the answer is getting very complicated.
