Perimeter :

perimeter of equilateral triangle = AB + BC + AC

= 12 + 12 + 12

= 36 cm

___________________________

Area :

area of equilateral ∆ = √3/4a²

where a is side of ∆.

area of equilateral ∆ = √3/4 × (12)²

area of equilateral ∆ = √3/4 × 144

area of equilateral triangle = √3 × 36

area of equilateral ∆ = 36√3 cm²
