given :-

length of the rectangle = l = 91/2 m

breadth of the rectangle = b = 50/3 m

here, we have to find the perimeter of the rectangle.

formula to find the perimeter of a rectangle is 2 ( l + b )

therefore perimeter of the rectangle = 2 ( l + b )

= 2 (91/2 + 50/3)

now, we can't simply add 91 and 50 and neither we can add 2 and 3.

they are in fractions. so firstly, we have to make their denominators same.

making denominators same,

➡ LCM of 2 and 3 = 2 × 3 = 6

  • 91/2 = (91 × 3)/(2 × 3) = 273/6

  • 50/3 = (50 × 2)/(3 × 2) = 100/6

now we can add them since their denominators are same. but never ever add denominators.

= 2 × (273 + 100)/6

= 2 × 373/6

= 373/3

= 124 ⅓ m

or

= 124.33m (approximately)

hence, it's perimeter is 123.33 m.
