area of rectangle = 600cm^2
breadth = 25 cm
area of rectangle = l × b
600cm^2 = l × 25 cm
600/25 = l
l = 24 cm
hence the perimeter of rectangle = 2× ( l+b )
= 2× ( 24 +25)
= 2 × 49
= 98 cm

Hello Friend !

The answer is given below :

We know that the area of rectangle is given by : l × b

It is given that :

Area of the rectangle, A = 600 cm²

Breadth of the rectangle, b  = 25 cm

Therefore A = l × b

⇒ 600 cm² = l × 25 cm

⇒ l = 600/25

⇒ l = 24 cm

Therefore the length of the rectangle, l = 24 cm

Now we know that perimeter of rectangle is given by the formula : 2(l+b)

∴ Perimeter, P = 2(24+25)

⇒ P = 2×49

⇒ Perimeter of the rectangle is, P = 98 cm

Hope this helps !
