AR. =l x b
650=13 x l
L=650/13
L=50

P=2(l+b)
=2(13+50)
=2(43)
=86cm

Swarup1998: 50+13=63
darshankumar03: area of the rectangle is 650cm2 and the breadth is 13cm so the length will be 50cm. perimeter of the rectangle is 2(l+b) =2(50+13)=2(63)=126

Given data is

  Area of the rectangle ( A ) = 650 cm²

  Breadth ( b ) = 13 cm

Solution :

Let us take the length of the rectangle be a cm

We know that, the area of the rectangle is

    ( Breadth * Length ) unit²

    = 13 * a cm²

    ⇒ 13a = 650 ( given )

    ⇒ a = 50

So, length of the rectangle is 50 cm

Therefore, the perimeter of the rectangle is

  = 2 ( length + breadth ) units

  = 2 ( a + b ) cm

  = 2 ( 50 + 13 ) cm

  = 2 * 63 cm

  = 126 cm
