Question:-

Find the perimeter of a rectangle whose dimensions are 8 m and 6.5 m.

Answer:-

  • The perimeter of rectangle is 29 m.

To find:-

  • Perimeter of rectangle

Solution:-

  • Length of rectangle = 8 m
  • Breadth of rectangle = 6.5 m

As we know,

 \large{ \boxed{ \mathfrak{perimeter = 2(l  + b)}}}

Where,

  • l = length of rectangle
  • b = breadth of rectangle

According to question,

 \large{ \rm :  \implies \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \: perimeter = 2(8 + 6.5)}

 \large{ \rm  : \implies \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \: perimeter = 2 \times 14.5}

 \large{ \rm :   \implies \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \: perimeter = 29}

Hence,

  • The perimeter of rectangle is 29 m.
