Converting 1.5 m to cm

So 1.5 x 100 = 150

Perimeter of rectangle = 2 ( l + b )

2 ( 150 + 70 )

2 ( 220 )

440

Thus , the perimeter of rectangle is 440 cm .

If you want to convert into metres , then it becomes 4.4 m .

BoldStyle: pls :)
mahreenzafar37132: 20 cm
BoldStyle: I'm saying about the explanation , I couldn't post the explanation of the sum here
mahreenzafar37132: hello
mahreenzafar37132: breadth of the rectangle whose length is 16 cm and area is 96 sq cm
mahreenzafar37132: pls ans
npfbd: area = 96cm² length = 16cm breadth = a/l = 96/16 = 6 cm
BoldStyle: yep this is the correct answer :)
mahreenzafar37132: thenks

Answer:

length = 1.5 m = 150

breadth = 70 cm

perimeter = 2 ( l + b )

= 2 ( 150 + 70 )

= 2 ( 220 )

= 440

the perimeter of the rectangle is 4.4 m

BoldStyle: but when u have calculated the answer in centimetres , how does 440 cm become 4.4
BoldStyle: only when 440 cm is converted to m ,it becomes 4.4 m
npfbd: 440/100 is 4.4 it is conversion
BoldStyle: yep I do know
