Find the perimeter of a rectangle whose length is 4 cm and breadth is 3 cm.​

Answer:

perimeter = ( l + b ) × 2

= 2 × ( 4 + 3 )

= 2× 7

= 14 cm

  • According to question we are given that length and breadth of rectangle is  4\ cm and 3\ cm respectively  .  We have to find perimeter of rectangle.  
  • To find perimeter we use following formula -
  • Perimeter of rectangle  = 2 (l+ b)
  • Substituting the values we get,
  • Perimeter of rectangle = 2 ( 4 + 3 )\ cm

                                              = (2 \times 7 )\ cm  \\= 14\ cm

Hence, perimeter of rectangle is 14\ cm .
