find the perimeter of a rectangle whose length is 48cm and breadth is 12m

Hi,
Perimeter of a rectangle = Length+breadth
=48cm+12cm
=60cm×2
=120cm

Unimaginable: The perimeter of a rectangle is not length + breadth. Perimeter of a rectangle is (length + breadth) * 2. : )

(Length + Breadth) * 2  = Perimeter.
48m + 12m = 60m.
60m * 2 = Perimeter.
60m * 2 = 120m.
Therefore 120m is the perimeter of the rectangle.
